My precious girl had a vicious cold this week. Fever, runny nose, sneezing, lost her voice...the usual. I have to say, the part where she lost her voice was kind of cute. Other than that, no cuteness about a kid with a cold. I really thought that she had gone into her terrible two's overnight. She has been into EVERYTHING that she isn't supposed to. For instance, she has pulled the keyboard for the computer off of the desk at least a dozen times. I grab her up and squeeze the daylights out of her hands and tell her "No no!" On a normal day, that would probably get a few tears and then she'd move on. On a "cold" day, she just smiled at me, then yanked her shirt up (an act of rebellion?) and yells, "Ahhh! No no no no!" Sigh. After 3 days of pulling her out of the trash can, keeping her from destroying the computer, keeping her from calling China on the phone, pulling her fingers out of the VCR, having her cry the ENTIRE time I'm at the grocery store, and putting up with a lot of attitude (the kind only a little girl can give), I was DONE! And then guess who should come down with a cold.......my hubby. Do I even need to say another word? Anyone with a sweet, adorable husband knows how well they cope with a cold. Scotty said that after this week, I can have tomorrow "off". I think I'll take him up on that!!!!

One of those weeks

men are such babies. if your day 'off' is like mine ... it is 2 hours to TJMaxx the whole time thinking ... 'i should be home tending to my children ... all of them (hubby included)'. Moms just don't get days OFF ... unless we are at the beach 6 hours away. :-)
Speaking of the beach - Can we get that on the calendar, please?
waiting for your next entry ... dying to know if you got the day 'off'.
