That is what my house is right now. It is nothing short of a complete disaster. I know, I know, I can't expect it to be anything other than that with everything we own being put into boxes. We are moving in 6 days, and I break into a sweat when I think about how in the WORLD we are going to get everything all done! A positive is that all the clutter makes me that much more anxious to get our new house clean and settled as quickly as possible!
Speaking of complete disasters, I encountered one the other day very unexpectedly! My mom was here with Molly for the morning and we put Molly down for a "Nanna nap" (the comatose, 3 1/2 hour nap she usually takes after being with Nanna because Nanna has a lot of energy and gets Molly good and worn out!). She got very quiet, and we assumed she was asleep. An hour and a half later, she made it clear she was NOT asleep! She had actually somehow pulled a bouquet of dried flowers out of a container that hangs on her wall and mutilated them! When I opened the door, they were in her hair, stuck to her clothes, in her mouth (she was going, "blah! blah!"), all over the floor, and ALL over her crib! Have you ever tried to get crushed dried flowers out of things? Not pretty. The picture really doesn't do it justice, but it gives a small idea...

oh my GOODNESS! Um, if it's worse than the picture ... I'm so sorry for you!!! I feel bad that I didn't come and help you pack up last week. I got so caught up in my own deadlines at work that I wasn't thinking of anyone else. Can I help you UNPACK?
