The heartbeat
I went today to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I'm a little over 11 weeks pregnant. This appointment always makes me so nervous! They never found Emmie's and I had to have an ultrasound to confirm everything was fine. Molly's they found right away, but I was a little over 12 weeks when they checked. This one he had to search for a little, just long enough that my heart started to race........and then there it was! Unbelievable. There are few sounds as awesome to me as the sound of that little heartbeat. It's a complete miracle. To imagine that they can hear the beating heart of a tiny baby the size of a plum is miraculous. And the baby is so low! Leaves me wondering why the top of my belly is getting so fat if the baby is all the way down at the bottom! Anyhow, I guess it's for real......I really am pregnant! Praise God for the precious sound of that heartbeat.

MINDALYN!!!! What the crap... congratulations!! I mean, I miss SOOO much down here in Daphne:( And, it blows my mind and makes me sad that I haven't even met Molly. One day! But, until then, I am just so excited for your sweet little family. What a blessing:) Love you.

Yeah Min!! That is definitely the greatest sound! I always felt most comfortable after I heard the heartbeat....such a true miracle!
