Scotty and I just went to lunch and part of our discussion was about what a tough year it has been. Scotty is in sales, so this down economy has really taken a toll on his business. We were saying that we have things to be thankful for, but it seems like the stress of getting from a to b has outweighed our thankfulness. We have had a tough year business wise, we sold and bought a house and moved, and we had another baby. A lot to be stressed about! But I'm inspired by my friend Heather (thanks Heathie!) to take a minute and actually write down what I'm thankful for. So here it goes...
I'm thankful...
- for a husband that loves me and loves our family so well
- for having our needs met in tough times
- for my parents...don't know what we'd do without them
- for my children
- for my friends
- for a Savior who loves me
- for a new church home
- for our health
- for cars that are paid for
- for food on the table
- for freedom
There is more, but there's a start! I hope that everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
